Welcome to The Zero Proof Social, an alcohol free community in Dallas, TX where individuals can come together and interact without the use of alcohol. We welcome everyone, whether you're sober, sober curious, sober sometimes or sober for the hour.
At The Zero Proof Social, we're on a mission to reframe the narrative around sobriety and break down the barriers that hold so many people back from living their best life. Being sober is not simply about avoiding alcohol; it's about unlocking your potential to live more consciously and build deeper relationships. We're here to help you build authentic connections with like-minded people, increase mindfulness, and have fun in a supportive environment.
Having been sober intermittently for several years, I faced the challenge of associating sobriety with a less than exciting social life. However, following a moment of introspection, I asked myself, "What if I could recreate some of the experiences that are typically associated with alcohol in an alcohol-free context?". This question served as the driving force behind the creation of The Zero Proof Social.
It is my mission to create a fun, inclusive, and inspiring community that caters to the sober and the sober curious. My dedication to redefining what it means to be sober is evident in every aspect of The Zero Proof Social.
"I can't tell you which thing I hated most, the host, the activity, or the drinks. They were all equally amazing. It was disturbing how much I enjoyed things.
First off, I take issue with the self described "entrepreneur" hosting the event. Her demeanor and behaviour consistently made me smile. The way she worked to ensure everyone had a great time was simply off-putting. It was all very suspicious. No one should be that charming. Especially under all the pressure to make sure the event went off without a hitch.
Second off, yoga? What kind of self improvement sham are you running? Having a professional yogi running a class in a friendly and constructive manner? Am I to really believe that you wanted me to be healthier and happier? I left that room feeling restored and ready for my day. A day that could only go down from the high you helped me reach. You monster.
Thirdly, the "drinks". The amount of effort you spent researching, blending, and serving the mocktails made me sick. They were all so tasty, I couldn't stop myself. Did you even once consider making them bad? Clearly not as all I can think about is how much I want to try sample more of your aberrations."
